Kathmandu . For his innovative contributions and leadership in the fields of entrepreneurship and economics, Manoj Paudel, Founder and Chairperson of Aadhyanta Fund Management Limited, has been awarded the ‘Youth Icon Recognition Award 2023’ by the Management Association Nepal (MAN).
The award was presented to Mr. Paudel by the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Mahaprasad Adhikari, during the 43rd Annual General Meeting of MAN held on Friday.
MAN has recognized Mr. Paudel for his exemplary management style in establishing unique partnerships between the government, private sector, and development partners within Nepal’s alternative and innovative investment (private equity/venture capital) and entrepreneurship sectors.
As an Executive Committee Member and Chairperson of the Investment and International Affairs Forum at the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI), Mr. Paudel has also been honored for his role in proficiently representing Nepal as an investment destination on various global platforms.
A Chevening Scholar with a postgraduate degree from the world-renowned London School of Economics, Mr. Paudel also serves as a Director at Prime Commercial Bank. He is a co-founder of several innovative institutions, including Kathmandu Technical School, Invest Infra, and the Institute for Government and Public Affairs.
This year, the Association has initiated new categories of awards to honor young talents working towards positive change in Nepal. Similarly, the Association has awarded the ‘Manager of the Year Award’ to Gokarna Raj Awasthi, the Director-General of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the ‘Woman Manager Recognition Award’ to Aarti Chatut, and the ‘Lifetime Contribution Award’ to Padma Lal Shrestha.
